Controls
The throttle is automatic – you focus on steering and fighting. Play in landscape.
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Steer | Drag left or right anywhere on the left side of the screen. Prefer tilt or arrow buttons? Change it in Settings → Controls. |
| Attack | The big button on the right. It targets the nearest rider beside you. Holding a club or chain? It swings that instead. |
| Brake | The small button on the right. Hold to slow down for traffic or corners. |
| Nitro | Shows how many charges you have (up to 3). Tap for a burst of speed. |
| Ability | Your bike's signature move. The ring around it shows the cooldown. |
Left-handed? Turn on Settings → Controls → Left-handed to mirror the layout. You can also adjust steering sensitivity and haptics there.
Game modes
What's the difference between the modes?
Offline races you against seven bots on Easy, Normal or Hard, with no internet. Ranked matches you with riders online and changes your rank based on where you finish; bots fill empty spots so races start quickly. Friends Room creates a private online race – share the code or link. LAN lets phones on the same Wi-Fi race each other without internet.
How do I invite friends to a room?
Tap Friends Room → Create, then share the six-character code or the invite link. Friends tap the link, or open the game and choose Friends Room → Join with code.
Do offline races earn rewards?
Yes. Offline races earn cash and XP at a reduced rate, credited the next time you are online. Ranked races pay the most.
Local Wi-Fi troubleshooting
If friends can't see your game in LAN:
- Make sure every phone is on the same Wi-Fi network (not one on Wi-Fi and one on mobile data).
- Guest networks and many public, hotel or office networks block devices from seeing each other ("client isolation"). Use a home network, or turn on a mobile hotspot on one phone and connect the others to it.
- Turn off VPNs and private DNS apps on all phones while playing.
- Disable battery saver or data saver, which can pause the game in the background.
- The host should create the game first and keep the app open; others then tap LAN → Join.
- On a router you control, allow local UDP traffic on ports 47777 and 47778.
Purchases
I bought a bike but it isn't in my garage.
Check your connection, then open the Garage – pending purchases are delivered automatically once Google Play confirms them, which can take a few minutes for some payment methods. If it still isn't there, restart the game while online: it re-checks your Google Play purchases every time it starts.
How do I get my bikes on a new phone?
Purchases belong to your account. Connect Google Play Games on your old device first, then sign in with the same Play Games account on the new one – your bikes come with you.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are made through Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Request one from your Google Play order history or the Google Play help center. If you have trouble, email us with your order ID (it starts with GPA.).
Account & progress
How do I connect Google Play Games?
Open Settings → Account → Connect Google Play Games and pick your account. If that Play Games account is new to Rash Riders, your current progress is linked to it. If it already has a profile, that profile loads instead – premium bikes you bought as a guest come with you, but the guest's cash, XP and rank don't merge. Signing in with the same Play Games account on another device loads the same profile.
I lost my progress.
If you had connected Google Play Games, sign in to the same Play Games account and your progress returns. Guest accounts that were never connected live only on the original device; if you still have it, connect Play Games there first. Otherwise email us your rider name and roughly when you last played and we'll do our best to help.
How do I delete my account?
See Delete your account.
Reporting cheaters and offensive names
Email us with the rider's name, the mode (Ranked or Friends Room, with the room code if you have it), the approximate time and date, and a screenshot or screen recording if possible. We review every report against server-side race data. Read the Fair Play rules.
